Chozen throws Kamiko down after she attacks him from behind. Daniel tries to use the element of surprise by doing the same, but he fails. In the street, sometimes you lose the initiative. Your opponent may be distracted for one reason or another. They may even give their back momentarily. That’s no guarantee you’ll be able to use it to your advantage.
